State Route 15 Bike/Ped Plan for the City of Bolivar

The City of Bolivar is working with TDOT Long Range Planning and The Corradino Group to prepare a State Route 15 Bicycle/Pedestrian Plan.  State Route 15 runs concurrent with US Highway 64.  The goals of the plan are as follows:

  • Create safe facilities for walking and biking along State Route 15.

  • Provide improved and new safe crossings

  • Provide connections between downtown, residential areas, and parks

  • Improve the transportation network by providing multimodal options for a variety or trip purposes

  • Improve mobility through the City of Bolivar by connecting land uses with bicycle facilities, pedestrian facilities, and intersection crossings appropriate for all users.

Public Involvement & Feedback 

We have gathered existing information  and want to share it with you and gather your feedback.  There are three (3) ways to participate and share your opinions with us.
  • Attend a virtual meeting that will be held via Microsoft Teams on April 20, 2021, at 5:00 PM.  If you wish to attend this meeting, please email tneal@corradino.com​

  • Complete a short survey regarding bicycle and pedestrian facilities on State Route 15 (Highway 64) which can be accessed by clicking on the link below.

  • From April 12, 2021, through April 23, 2021, there will be maps at the Bolivar Municipal Building, 211 North Washington Street, for you to review.   You may make comments with issues and/or concerns, or make recommendations.  In addition, printed copies of the survey will be available.  You may complete the survey while you are there and leave them for us.
