Bolivar Police Department Donates to the Warriors Center

On Friday, May 22, 2020, the Bolivar Police Department donated $1,000 from its drug fund to the Bolivar Warriors Center to support the mission of the local center. The Warriors Center is a 501(c)(3) organization that provides hope and healing to those battling substance abuse through faith-based recovery programs.

The Warriors Center in Bolivar provides a valuable service to the city and other organizations through outreach work and short-term mission projects in the community. Through its outreach, participants at the Warriors Center have volunteered their time for community service projects such as lawn and landscape services at the Bolivar-Hardeman County Library, assisting in the development of the gardens at the Bolivar Community Garden, litter pick-up on city streets, and much more.

"The Bolivar Police Department is proud to assist these gentlemen in their recovery efforts and to partner with them in the community," said Bolivar Police Chief Michael Jones.
