     The Parks and Recreation Department has six parks, two fishing lakes, and a multi-purpose gymnasium. The gymnasium includes six basketball goals, portable volleyball, and pickle ball nets.  The walking track is open from 7 AM - 3 PM.  Basketball is available on weekdays from 3 PM - 5 PM.

 

     The department’s staff includes four full- time employees and many part-time employees.

 

     The city sponsors a variety of sports activities throughout the year.  Contact any of our staff for a current schedule of activities or email the director at aford.cityofbolivar@gmail.com.
