The Bolivar Police Department is proud to recognize Officer Braxdon Frost as the recipient of the 2024 Officer of the Year award. This prestigious honor highlights Officer Frost’s exceptional dedication, leadership, and service to the community of Bolivar.
Officer Frost began his law enforcement career with the Bolivar Police Department on October 1, 2018, and has since become a respected and valued member of the team. Now in his seventh year of service, he continues to demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and a deep commitment to public safety.
A true local, Officer Frost was born and raised in Bolivar, and his roots in this community run deep. His decision to serve in the same city that shaped him is a testament to his character and devotion. In his role as a police officer, he continues to give back to the community that raised him—building trust, fostering safety, and making a difference in the lives of those around him.
Law enforcement also runs in Officer Frost’s blood. He is a second-generation police officer, following in the footsteps of his father, Lindsey Frost, who also served the Bolivar Police Department with distinction. Officer Frost honors that legacy daily through his work on the streets and his connection to the community.
In addition to his patrol duties, Officer Frost has taken on several key roles within the department. He serves as a Field Training Officer (FTO), playing a crucial role in mentoring and developing new officers. His guidance and leadership have helped shape the next generation of Bolivar police officers.
Officer Frost is also a member of the Safe Streets Task Force, working alongside local, state, and federal partners to combat violent crime and improve safety in our neighborhoods. His work with the task force reflects his commitment to proactive policing and collaboration in service of a safer Bolivar.
