Salvation Army Offers Programs Locally

The Salvation Army is now offering the Pathway of Hope and 2GEN initiative in the Hardeman County area. This two-generation approach is designed to help families escape the cycle of poverty. You will work with a family coach to walk with you along your unique journey to improve your quality of life.

They provide case management services, help set individualized goals, build social connections, complete life skills courses, and explore resources available in our community. The goal is to become more self-sufficient and learn the skills you need to change your life. In addition, making these changes reduces the chance of your children falling into the same pattern.

Life skills courses help you budget your money, learn how to save money, teach you how to make better financial decisions, assist in job readiness through professional development, help you build your resume, teach interview skills, develop time management skills, and help you find a job.

For more information on their programs, please contact Ms. Juanita Williams at (731) 499-1913 to schedule an appointment.
