Bolivar, TN | December 17, 2021: The City of Bolivar is proud to announce that a new apartment complex is being located in Bolivar. The complex will be located on Tate Road at Pecan Drive. The Bolivar Regional Planning Commission approved a request for rezoning the undeveloped property from H(Hospital) to R-3 (High Density Residential) at a special called meeting on Thursday, December 16, 2021.
MLH Investments, LLC, has contracted the development and construction of a 200-unit apartment complex on the Tate Road property. The complex will offer 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom luxury apartments, laundry facility, dog park, swimming pool, fitness room, and clubhouse. Contractors will break ground on the new complex on January 1, 2022. The first apartments are expected to open in April 2022, and the project is expected to be completed by the end of 2022.
“We are excited to announce the second major housing development initiative for the City of Bolivar within a matter of weeks. We are perfectly positioned to take advantage of the growth that development at Blue Oval City will bring to the area,” said Mayor McTizic. Mr. Matt Huff of MLH Improvements stated, “We are working on other projects in the city and are excited to be investing in Bolivar.”
Integrity Plus Company announced in November that they would be building a housing development on Polk Street in four phases that will eventually total 271 properties. Phase one of the Integrity Plus development calls for twenty-five 1,350 to 1,850 square foot homes with 3-4 bedrooms and two-car garages. Those properties will begin pre-selling in the spring of 2022.
